The Hot Buttered Rum is a cozy, spiced holiday beverage made with rich butter, warm spices, and rum, garnished with a cinnamon stick or a sprinkle of nutmeg.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Dark Rum

  • 1 Tablespoon of Melted Unsalted Butter

  • 2 Tablespoons of Brown Sugar

  • 1 Pinch of Ground Cinnamon

  • 1 Pinch of Ground Nutmeg

  • 1 Pinch of Ground Allspice

  • Cinnamon Stick For Garnish

Directions

  • In a warm mug, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and a pinch of cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice.
  • Mash together the ingredients using the back of a spoon.
