The John Collins is a refreshing cocktail made with bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup, and club soda, served over ice.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Bourbon Whiskey

  • 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

  • 0.5 oz Simple Syrup

  • Club Soda (to top up)

  • Lemon Slice And Cherry Garnish

Directions

  • In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 ounces of bourbon, 1 ounce of freshly squeezed lemon juice, and 0.5 ounces of simple syrup.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
  • Strain into a chilled glass filled with ice.
  • Top up with club soda.
  • Garnish with a lemon slice and a maraschino cherry.
