A whiskey sour is made with bourbon whiskey, lemon juice, and simple syrup.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Bourbon Whiskey

  • 0.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

  • 0.5 oz Simple Syrup

  • Slice Of Lemon And Cherry For Garnish

Directions

  • In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 ounces of bourbon whiskey, 0.75 ounces of freshly squeezed lemon juice, and 0.5 ounces of simple syrup.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake for 15-20 seconds.
  • Using a Hawthorne Strainer, strain the mixture into a chilled Old Fashioned glass filled with ice.
  • Garnish with a slice of lemon and a cherry.
  • Serve.
