A Vodka Sour is a tangy cocktail made from vodka, fresh lemon juice, and simple syrup, and is garnished with a lemon slice.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Vodka

  • 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

  • 0.75 oz Simple Syrup

  • Lemon Slice For Garnish

Directions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  • Pour the vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup into the shaker.
  • Seal and shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is ice cold to the touch.
  • Using a Hawthorne Strainer, strain into an Old Fashioned glass filled with ice.
  • Garnish with a lemon slice and serve.
