A Salty Dog Cocktail consists of vodka, grapefruit juice, and coarse salt.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Vodka

  • Grapefruit Juice (to top up)

  • Coarse/Kosher Salt

  • Grapefruit Wedge

Directions

  • Run a grapefruit wedge around the rim of a rock glass.
  • Turn the glass upside down and press it into a plate of coarse/kosher salt, ensuring the rim is evenly covered in salt.
  • Fill the glass with ice.
  • Pour 2 oz vodka over the ice.
  • Top up with grapefruit juice.
  • Garnish with a grapefruit wedge and serve.
